No Jagdgeschwader 26 nickname was "Schlageter".  Their emblem was an S inside of a shield.  

Since this is suppose to be Hans-Joachim Marseille 109, (W.Nr) 3579, it would have been assigned to I.(J)/LG2 (Lehrgeschwader 2).

ETA: Also, the circle with the "X" in the center was I.(J)/LG2 emblem if I'm not mistaken.
