Despite the fact that the students had tickets to the event, security personnel turned them away at the door to the recreation center where Obama gave a speech on economic policy, telling the group it wasn’t about their politics but the president’s safety, State Treasurer of the College Republicans Courtney Scott told The College Fix. http://www.thecollegefix.com/post/14098/ |

It would be awesome if some of the students were military veterans.

We have a bigger problem than the most skeptical of us believed if that is true.

Welcome to the party, how does it feel to be considered a threat like us gun owners?

Tick tick tick Some people are happily oppressed. Others aren't.

Fuehrer proof he is only ruling by and for 1/2 of the country.

Oddly, I don't remember this happening during the Bush years of great oppression.
But it seems to happen a lot during these Obama years of great freedom and openness. Funny that. |

Why would anyone want to go to an Obama speech in the first place? You couldn't drag me kicking and screaming. I'd consider being barred a badge of honor.

Ahh, I see what their problem is. They were protesting that the unemployment rate was too HIGH. Yeah, that right there is enough to deny audience with socialists. Had they come complaining about having too much responsibility and yet not enough money, they would have been allowed in the audience.

Republicans are a security threat
We are so doomed as a country it's scary. Watching all the sheep mindlessly parrot what the DNC tells them right into their cages. |

doesnt suprise me knowing how many liberal turd filled colleges there are.what shocks me even more is why a republican would want to hear his speech anyway, just more empty promises and the blame game

The determining factor in their exclusion was their opposition to the president's political views.

I would think that telling them they have to stay several hundred yards for the rec center would be excluding them from their ability to exercise their right of assembly. Amazing that the prez. and his entourage can go about excluding anyone who disagrees with their policies. Kinda eerie how someone with a square mustache over the center of his lip used to do the same thing. He was a very "inspirational leader" too. I'm not saying, I'm just saying.

So Republicans are now a dissident force to be watched (feared) by Dear Leader?

His latest barnstorming tour is an all out effort to reconcile some of his disenfranchised base. He couldn't give 2 shits about anyone else.
With the massive push back on ObamaCare, weekly scandals, and poll #s approaching GWB in '08, he going all out to re-unify the base. Why? He's cooking up something to solidify his legacy, and I smell another epic "Fuck America" type stunt. |

I don't remember the Bush admin keeping Dems out; in fact, I remember a lot of his public appearances being disrupted by various opposition individuals. |

Obviously, people who think for themselves pose a serious threat to this administration.

Since the Kenyan Turd can't fill a phone booth, looks like they would want all the warm bodies they could get.
