I can see why though. Strange men appear and the family begins wailing, the dog probably thought they were a threat.
Can't fault the officers though, from the information presented. |

Man that sucks. I don't fault the officer for shooting a charging dog, but that was very unfortunate timing. I doubt he's happy about it either.

Dog lover & owner, no doubt would have most likely shot that dog as well.
 I don't like to see blue lights behind me any different then the next guy. Still, IMO LEO getting a bad rap about shooting dogs, they have a tough job with high stress & little money. If a raging animal is charging you, KILL it! |
