It seems the newer inventory 6920s have a magpul BUIS for the rear site. These appear to be the older inventory with a carry handle. I posted this because I thought some people might prefer the carry handle. I haven't called to verify.  |

Still looking for the "sale" mentioned. Base 6920 goes ~$1k at Walmart..
Edit: It is quite possible I'm confusing the price for a DPMS Sportical. Regardless, its still not a sale after shipping & other fees. |

Carry handle model, all that Magpul stuff is shit except for the mags and stock. Plus you get the front sling attachment on the carry handle model.
ETA: That PTR 8.5" barreled pistol is ridiculous in an awesome way

Can someone show me a price tag for <700 for a 6920?
There is always "that guy" that's thumbs his nose at AR prices, but I haven't seen a <$700 6920 for a LONG time. |

I hate fixed front sights...I would get the magpul one then later upgrade to a metal folding sight set and a RDS of some sort

Great rifle, a ton of fun to shoot, dependable as hell, and fairly accurate, but like all HK-style rifles with fluted chambers, it chews the shit out of brass. They clearly haven't been selling like they hoped they would. Anyway, not buying Colts at prices like that. I still think ARs over $700 are loony. Don't even think about AKs right now.
