What purpose did Google blur out this OH Island?
Put-in-Bay, OH https://maps.google.com/maps?q=Put-in-Bay,+OH&ll=41.651944,-82.825499&spn=0.031553,0.053988&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&hnear=Put-in-Bay,+Ottawa,+Ohio&gl=us&t=h&z=14 |

That's why you use Bing maps. It comes in clear as can be using bird's eye view.

Secret Govt. Facility used by Seal Team 6 (which doesn't exist)

Doesn't looked blurred, just low resolution imaging. Some places just aren't photographed all that often.

They didn't blur out this military object on Seneca Lake in NY...

I sail there often. Naked women and anal sex without reservation. Churches hand out condoms and Wiener goes there.

Not sure if that link will work or not, but it certainly isn't censored on bing. |

It may have been a privately owned island that someone requested to be removed. Google will blur any photos of you or your private property if you request it.
ETA: After looking at it, I think it's just a low-res image because it wasn't deemed important enough for a high-res version. |

It's not just that island. Others around it are the same way, including the bigger one to the northeast.

More rural areas aren't photographed in high resolution. That's all. The high rez you see before zooming is probably just a rendering illusion of some kind.
Oh and that military thing in Seneca lake is probably submarine training. They do that in Seneca lake because it is supposedly around 800-1000 feet deep in some parts. |

The island is a bunch of bars and touristy stuff and home to Perry's National Monument. It's also Home of the worlds longest bar..

Low resolution picture.. The Lake surrounding the island is in high resolution though? Can zoom right down on the boats out in open water......, but the island is low resolution? The immediate surrounding waters are at the same resolution as the island. So are the other nearby islands. Google "blurs" (more like, inserts extremely lo rez waterish lookin stuff for) waters off the immediate coast of land, that's plain on all images. I'm not seeing a conspiracy. I'm seeing the limitations of the technology, and I'm seeing folks that would sooner jump to claims of conspiracy before even learning the basics about what they're looking at. |

They didn't blur this site out. It is filled with underground bunkers of munitions and bombs to load onto ships.
