i have a 10/22 carbine. and i want to toss a 20mm PA red dot on it and some folding or collapsing stock. and nothing else. most on the market look pretty bubba'd and terrible or look super cheap brittle, not even toy grade plastic.

anyone have suggestions or input?

I think the Butler Creek folding stock is the sturdiest side folder for the 10/22. I have one and it works well.

Tapco Intrafuse:

It comes with two "buffer tubes."  One is straight, and one is angled down so you can get a cheek weld with low optics.

The old three-legged Federal Ordnance is the best I ever used. You can't argue with walnut and steel. Wish they were still made.

This one is made now but the arms are made of aluminum so I would question it's durability give the stock angle unfolded and would not pay $129.00 plus shipping to find out. I saw both the blued and stainless versions on EBay but they were auctions and nor BINs.
