A band of wild cats pounced on a French woman this
week and attacked her as she walked her pet dog. The traumatised woman
was reportedly left with a gashed artery and bites to her arms and legs
in what a vet said was an unprecedented assault.

Traditionally cats are meant to be solitary and docile
creatures. But a band of feral French felines in the north-eastern
French city of Belfort appears to have put that theory to bed.

The seemingly unprecedented attack happened around 7pm on Sunday at the
edge of a wood in Belfort, in the north-eastern region Franche-Comté,
situated between Lyon and Strasbourg, French news site l'Est Republicain reported.

The 31-year-old woman had apparently been out walking her pet poodle
when she was set upon by half a dozen blood thirsty moggies....

Maybe that tuna scented perfume wasn't such a good idea after all, or, maybe it wasn't tuna and she just forget to wash "down there" for a few days or weeks...........

Never get between feral cats and their legitimate prey. Poodles are legitimate prey

Wonder if she had picked up her poodle because it was barking at the cats and the cats attacked her to get at the dog?  I've farm cats attack en mass when a yapping ankle biter trespasses on their turf and I suspect that is the case here.

I'm fairly certain that the cats were attacking the dog, the woman just happened to impose herself and got fucked up as a bonus.

A sufficiently motivated, ten pound, feral cat will fuck you up.

I have two fairly large (20 and 23lbs) cats. One of them draws blood nearly any time he decides that you aren't done petting him. Not because he's trying to draw blood, but because he has a wicked set of talons. I would rather face down a pissed off rottweiler than get swarmed by multiple pissed off cats.

The fluffy one is the feline terrorist.

Oh I know, I just recently had to clean out a pack of em, the neighbor was feeding the local strays and while we were moved out doing a complete remodel on our house the damn things took up residence. We caught one huge tom that was in the process of dismantling the trap and I made the mistake of trying to grab it before it could escape. Bastard shredded my arm.
That's the only one left here but he's learned to stay away from the traps.

siamese cats were bred to guard the king's palace ,and also for intelligence. owners say they are more like a dog than a cat, protecting the owner and family. if these things ever cross with a feral breed run for your life.
