To clarify, I do not mean "We" as in individuals, but rather as a nation why can our government not protect our borders with lethal force.
Hell, try to sneak onto certain military installations and you are warned that the use of deadly force is authorized - why not at our border as well? |

Well generally speaking you can't employ lethal force unless there is a felony taking place where someone is under immediate threat of death or great bodily harm.
I think a few states had laws on the books up until the early 90's that made it an affirmative defense to shoot trespassers, a misdemeanor. |

I asked the same question before on here and it brought out all the liberals.
I really think after one or two head shots were made the others would turn and run and spread the story. Have the border posted with warning signs and the crossings would either stop or slow way down. |

If they cross the border onto PRIVATE PROPERTY which is clearly maked "No Tresspassing", can the property owner take lethal action?
