This is GOOD stuff. Great to see him enjoying it so much. My Grandma was quite the tomboy and gun collector and is the one that taught me to shoot some 30 years ago. Those will be memories that he will never, ever forget. Top Notch Grandpa skills VonFatman!!!

I just recently got a Single Six, made in 1953.
My son is only two right now, but I know he's going to love it when he's older. Is the Bearcat mostly the same thing with a shorter barrel, or are there any significant differences between the models? |
|
Very nice. You must be very proud. I can't wait until I have kids to shoot with.

Great job, What a smile.
Teach him the manly arts now and you'll never have to worry about him. Unfortunately when he goes back to school and is asked what he did on his summer vacation he wont be able to mention this. |

You have a shooting berm in your yard ? So jealous ! When the kids (9 & 7) go to the range with me I love every minute of it. I bought them a 22 Remington a couple of years ago. We make a day of it, pack a lunch, shoot ~500 rounds. Mom gets some quiet time if the baby (2) takes a nap.
We are trying to find someone to babysit the 2 year old so the four of us can go to the range. It's been too long since mom has had some time on the trigger. |
