For one or two battles, then they won't do much good.  The Hinds will run out of fuel (no jet fuel, no turbine operation).  The tanks and soldiers will run out of ammo, since modern day guns do not use older WW-2 era ammo.  Comm will be out, batteries will run out and cannot be replaced.  They will be shot at by both sides, the Russians in WW-2 do not reconize the modern day Russians, and will assume they are spies.

The left over equipment will be examed by both sides, and might have an impact to our modern day armor and helicopter technologies.

It wouldn't do anything stalin would have recalled them to the interior, every soldier interrogated then killed or sent to the gulag he would then give the equipment to 10th rated commander and lose everything within 2 hours the germans would capture said equipment then win the war when they reproduced it.

Those tanks run on diesel, right? They could theoreticy use captured fuel stores to keep moving longer.
