Have had a lot of people scoff when I say im a plumber, tell me shit runs down hill, don't chew my finger nails etc etc.

Meanwhile im in shape, strong as an ox, and make more than most people and only had to go to college 4 years.

Here's before.

I've seen your pics. You're not what I would call "in shape".

And you went to college for four years to learn that shit runs down?

As a contractor I can say that I can sweat pipes together, thats not the hard part. Having everything line up when trimmed out or have everything neat and orderly in the utility room is the hard part.

A skilled tradesman is worth their weight in gold.

I can run 2 miles, do 100 pushups, run up 3 flights of stairs with 250lbs on my shoulder.

I don't have a 6 pack but I also have a chest that is much larger than my waist.

I think he's trying to emphasize that he does other work that requires technical expertise and isn't just wading in shit all day. He probably had some pompous dick talk down to him today so he's explaining his duties to ARFCOM so that we know he's more than some dumb dick that likes to play in toilets.

I know a plumber that makes way more money than I do, so I wouldn't make a "shit rolls down hill" comment to a plumber.

Nice work.
I thought plumbers cleaned the pipes of lonely housewives, if you know what I mean...is this thing on?

To be more precise, I don't touch anything that has been used, if its been shit in you can call a house plumber.

Cool story bro.

Cubicle rats look down on people look down on those who work in the trades.  Its a fact of life.

People might understand what you do if you said that you are a pipefiter.   Then you wouldn't have to start stupid threads in GD.

In before the Union call out.

So you come here bitching about being talked down to, only to imply "house plumber" work is beneath you. Irony.

Not a plumber but I can measure, cut and thread pipe like a Mo Fo.

Can't use no sissy piping in my line of work.

Seriously, looks good but I much prefer threaded pipe and fittings.

Im non union, if I was union it would have taken 14 years to learn what I do.

And I would be called a pipefitter not a plumber if I was union.

Instead im the lone plumber of the apocalypse, defender of pestilence and strife. Protector of the health of a nation

Victauilic fittings suck for the end user / builder owner. Any seismic action and  I expect several thousand Vic joints to fail in my hospital and 5000gpm fire pumps to soak the rest. Had an idiot pop a head today patching around a head. I have a few hundred valves and a many dry valves and deluges.

Downhill is just a suggestion.

I have a license that allows me to put waste lines and water lines in a house. But I've only ever plumbed one house, want a mechanical room done? Call me.....want a house plumbed, go find the guy scrounging up work in the plumbing section of home depot, odds are he will do it cheaper and faster.
