Just back on the board after a couple of days, so just saw this for the first time. Was out at the range last week. Had a good time but was an AK kind'a day. Left the AR's at home. I'll try to make it out for this shoot, but work schedule for the week isn't firmed up yet.

Never been to that range. I'm in the Buford area (north Gwinnett) and will try to make it. I'll have to juggle my schedule a little but might can work it out.
Any clue how far the range is (roughly) from N. Gwinnett? If I can find an address I could use MapQuest to get directions. Also, what kind of targets can we use (i.e. paper only)? What are the range distances? I usually go to Wilson Shoals WMA up in Banks County. Only 75 yards max. That sucks real bad when you're trying to zero a 200+ yard deer rifle. What kind of "toys" are most guys bringing? I'd love to check out an FAL and some scoped ARs. |

How far? Well, there is a map on the meeting link that can help you get a rough address and then a distance. I saw mainly paper targets. A few guys were making cans dance with a .22. 100 yard rifle, 50 yard pistol, though you can use either range it seems. I bring a couple boxes to tape targets to.
