Buy, drive and race your favorite street cars on oval, F1 and street courses. There are single player races against AI, time trials and full multiplayer content. The game is played on PC. Steering wheel and pedal set is nice but not required. A keyboard and mouse will work, an Xbox controller plugged into your PC will work better. The game is free to play and has nice graphics. All content in the game is unlockable for free, no subscription restrictions. Upgraded cars can be purchased immediately for real money. ~$15 will buy you a full set of cars from every in game class. A joint ARFCOM and 2A gaming clan has already been set up here: ARFCOM, 2A Auto Club Contact pokernut for more details. He's the racing pro, I just hit stuff with my car. |

Looks badass. Are they all modern cars or does it have some old musclecars, too?

Hmm I like FPS better than racing...
Will VRMN8R and Strykewolf be playing? |
|
Just sent a request with my username to join the clan. Like I needed another excuse to not finish Bioshock Infinite!

Quoted: Hmm I like FPS better than racing... Will VRMN8R and Strykewolf be playing? Sup ducky. Haven't heard from VRM in a good long while. Stryke is keeping busy with his tanks but comes by to say hey every once in a while. You'd better watch out though because 24Cans is playing and he races like it's a first person shooter. Pew pew, car dead.

Once I get moved on the 1st, I'm going to MAKE time for some games. At the least, in 2 years when I graduate, I'll have plenty of time. |

I'm pretty impressed by the physics of the game with all the nanny assists turned off. The RX7 seems to understeer more than it should coasting or powering through a corner. I quick brake tap seems to let it float better pre-apex and a slight drift post-apex.
Now I have to go invest in a wheel. Graphics are pretty damned good. |

I use the thrustmaster Ferrari f430 force feedback wheel myself. http://insidesimracing.tv/ that website reviews almost every popular piece of sim and arcade racing stuff on the net. |

How does the simulation aspects compare to something like iRacing. iRacing is by far the best racing sim on the market but I would be willing to give this a shot.

I've got a account and have tried it out a bit, did some of the starter races. I'll have to see if I can get on with you guys some time.

How does it compare to iRacing physics and realism? Sorry, no clue I am a racing sim noob. I have never tried I racing. I bought a wheel for the new nascar 2013 for pc. Just found auto club because it is made by the same company. It is holding me over until 2013 goes live at the end of the month. Damn road courses and their right hand turns. Although screaming around spa is kind of fun also. |

tag Let us know if you're interested or have any questions. I've always been a racing sim fan (bought a PS2 solely for Gran Turismo 3, bought a PS one to only play Gran Turismo 2 to tide me over until I got the PS2, currently have a few hundred hours into NFS shift 2) but it may be awhile until I get into this, the Steam sale just raped my wallet and left Borderlands 2 and all of the DLC on the nightstand as hush money. |

What kind of info do they want for you to download?
Just how free is free? |

What kind of info do they want for you to download? Just how free is free? Minimal stuff, e mail required to set up account. All tracks are free, cars can be purchased for in game credits which are earned by driving races and doing some simple achievements. You can purchase in game currency to quicken the grind if you want. It is quite inexpensive if you choose to go that route. Also there is a free bmw available by going to their website. https://autoclubrevolution.com/en/bmw Also if you link to your facebook account or just make one and never log back in after linking you will earn in game currency every 5 levels you acquire. So no subscriptions or anything like that. |
