If it's true that John Allen Muhammed is the shooter, it's quite possible that he did this [i]with this weapon[/i] and [i]in this area[/i] in order to have maximum legislative effect in disarming the populace.  The less armed we are, the less able we are to fight back when they attack us here.

Yes, but an attack by whom?  The only people I consistently see running around pointing rifles at people have been the cops and the feds.
