I agree, maybe it should be an icon with the text "The Wall Street Journal" than if someone sees it, they will think we must be an edjucated people.

You should see how fast I scroll the page down when at work. It is not the company that concerns me since they allow you to surf the web at work, its the coworkers that concern me.

I agree, though I use a proxomitron filter to get rid of it while I'm at work, I guess I could replace it with wall st. journal or "Gore in 2004" or some porn stuff woulnd't matter what it was so long as its not a kill-rifle

Guns are not very politically correct.  2 weeks ago, a supervisor (who knows I shoot) actually asked if I were ever gonna shoot up the place.  I was a little taken back by this.  It wasn't so much about me, as it was an ex-coworker, but it was a little scary just the same.

It also indicates that you are not working quite as hard as the next guy.  OK, so some of these guys around here check out [url]www.hotornot.com[/url] but I'm not about to get burned by the boss for something that bad.  I scroll down and eliminate the logo.

Install Atguard,  It will let you block cookies, banners, images, and a few other things.  I use it for the cookie blocking and add the images I need blocked like the ar15 and ak47 images.

Workplace violence is real (uncommon), but scary for coworkers.  If your coworkers know you practice martial arts, they can think (subliminally) that you will use it on them. Guns are the same way.

The FBI uses "interested in guns" as a profile for a person likely to contribute to workplace violence. [rolleyes]

I work in Hollywood so I am surrounded by liberals who don't know the first thing about gun rights.  I leave up the AR15.com logo cause I like people to know my beliefs.  I really don't care what they think.

Just make sure your back isn't to the door.  I keep the back of my monitor facing the door.  That way a quick alt-tab takes me to outlook.

I personally don't mind the logo.  It seems to look normal on the computer screen at a police station.  You guys must be working in a 1984 style environment.

Just rest your real AR on top of the monitor, I bet your curious co-workers won't notice the little logo in the corner of the screen at all.

Actually, you should let them see it.  Let rumours start.  You won't have to do any more work at all.  They won't fire you because they think you will become homicidal.

Well, usually my posts only involve technical and tactical information, but I feel the need to chime in here. I work for an ISP. I surf the net all day long. A few of the people there have figured out that I am Ex-Military. I frequent Ar15 quite a bit, and yes I got the he is postal, he is gonna freak out type BS. I did not care. Then, something else happened. A few curious people started asking about what I was looking at, so I invited them out to fire a few weapons. From there , it has all been positive for the most part. A very anti gun person has purchased a firearm, and tomorrow I am taking a few people out to fire weapons. Yes, I still get the postal thing, but for the most part I have been accepted as the "Army, gun guy". Those who snide me for surfing firearms sites I blow off, as I now find I no longer have to defend myself. Those that were curious enough to approach me about it and took me up on my offers have really enjoyed themselves immensely, and they speak up in my behalf.
