OK, here's some examples.
Whenever I'm outside my house (sometimes even inside), I'm carrying. Everywhere. Except for work. Once I was in a church where the air conditioner was busted, and it was hotter than you would believe. I couldn't take off my jacket, because it would have exposed my 1911. So I sat there sweating. But I wasn't taking my pistol off just so I could ditch the jacket.
Whenever I'm shopping, I carry all my bags in my left hand. I'm a right handed shooter, so my right hand is always free. Now, I've practiced getting my shirt or jacket up with my left hand to get to my pistol with my right hand. I've also practiced getting my clothing out of the way with my right thumb, while dropping anything in my left hand, and getting the pistol into presentation. Practice, practice, practice, ad nauseum. It's boring, routine, reflex now. But I still practice it.
Caution, right?
Let me tell you more...
