I did not notice the lowest one the first time. That is the early Armalite AR-10 that was chambered for the 30-06. Im not sure of the two top models. That is a cool pic, were did you get it?

It´s on the mainpage there. Shows good footage of the AR10 being fired in different condtions and variations. |

Hi,
The top picture of E. Stoner came from the book 'The Black Rifle', by Stevens & Ezell. The best (most complete) contemporary publication on the develpoment of the AR10/AR15. And I think the top rifle is the 30-06 prototype because Stoner used BAR mags for it. Cheers, RG.nl |
