Is it just me, or is every reporter now going out to a firing range and shooting a rifle?  I mean, we just watched another reporter (this time from Fox News) go and shoot a rifle.  This pathetic reporter gets set up with an AR15 with a scope and shoots at 25 yards to start out, and then moves to 40 yards.  I was amazed that she reported her shots were in "the kill zone" when two were outside the target on the white paper and two were just barely inside the head outline on the paper.

The scary part?............She actually looked like she enjoyed it.

Mommy, I'm scared........

With any luck, many of them will discover that shooting IS fun and not an evil pastime.  With even more luck, they'll continue to persue an interest in shooting and firearms knowledge.  Then we won't have to hear this type of news report so often:

"In the latest of a string of local robberies, it is believed that the gunman used a sawed-off, fully-automatic 38mm revolver, equipped with a high-capacity drum clip and a silencer.  The gunman is also believed to be a member of an extremist organization of gunowners (possibly the NRA) and likely has received advanced firearm training by reading Guns and Ammo magazine."
