I can tell you now what will happened when they get this guy:

If he is caught with a single shot 223 hunting rifle the media wont show anything about what weapon was really used and everyone will still be left with the impression he had some sort of super sniper assault rifle.

If the guy is killed by someone with concealed carry of a handgun, the media will simply right it down that he was "subdued and killed by a civilian" then end, no mention of using a gun or anything of that nature and only a select few know the truth.

If he is caught with a semi-auto 223 rifle, the outcries against "assault rifles" will gain great power in the minds of sheeple, all too eager to ban what they don't understand.

No matter what happens the damage is done, once the media twist reality, there is no turning back, as many Canadians have learnt after 9/11 when the media was quick to say the terrorist came from Canada when they in fact where not. Even Rock River Arms refuses to sells guns to Canadian gun owners saying "Canada let in the 9/11 terrorists in and we don't know shit about security."
