Would a Springfield, Mosin or Mauser fall into the fudd gun category?

I can't wait for about 30 years when all the college kids are at the range blasting their plasma rifles and laughing at us old guys with our tricked out ARs. They'll probably call us "Yeagers"

Bolt guns.

ETA : If the ammo for it is in stock at Walmart then it is probably a fudd gun.

Absolutely not

Military rifles, Military features. Bayonet Lugs, Etc. Etc. Most fuds I know like bead blasted stocks and free float barrels

Fudd is a fucking state of mind, not the action of a gun. Is a M40 a Fudd gun?

The day that happens...

"Fuck that...  I'm not fucking putting up with that... I'm not letting my country be ruled by Fudds... if it goes one inch further with the Fudds calling us Yeagers... I'm gonna start bitch slapping college kids!"

This. There is nothing wrong in owning a fine bolt action rifle or a hunting pump shotgun.

ETA, also lever guns are nice. Not every gun you own has to be tacticool.

there are not "fudd guns". someone else said it, fudd is a state of mind. the fudd's don't care about rights, as-long as they're not taking their shotgun or hunting rifle, and will sell the ar-15 down the river, without realizing that when they've got the ar-15s, the bolt action rifles and pump or semi-auto shotguns are next.
