Were parts kits for these ever imported for these?
Saw a chopped up one at the Gunshow a week ago or so and wasn't sure of the history behind them being in country or not. Would be a pretty sweet semi-build if you could swing it

I dunno but back in Vietnam, the VC used to convert them to 7.62mm somehow.

I've been told The French Foreign Legion used them to good effect.
I wouldn't mind having working one in my closet. And 5 or so fully loaded magazines.

Yes they were imported about 20 years ago by SARCO , now days they still turn up but they are around $1000 when they do. One showed up on Gunboards a few months back.
