The carve out is bullshit of the highest order.

Muncipal ordinance violation is a misdemeanor by definition.

If they blow the time limit we get FOID carry and can take our
chances with a misdemeanor ordinance violation.

They want to replace that with a FELONY for crossing a county line.

Question..... Why is this bad? F Crook Co let them be excluded..... We need to get a shall issue bill through or risk a may issue for the whole State. Let them get sued AGAIN and then take Cook Co. but if we let them blanket the whole state with their crookedness we all lose!

It's bad because now is the time to get this done. If we allow Chicago and Cook to carve out pieces, whos to say other areas won't. Do you really want to carry a little map around in your pocket that tells you where you rights are being violated?
