I am more concerned with millions of parents retaining the ability to meet deadly threats to their children with the confidence that comes with being properly armed with weapons that can provide adequate defense even in the face of multiple attackers.

Though it's harder to put the pictures of millions of children on the cover of newspaper.

As a law enforcement officer and law abiding citizen I'd like to thank you for specifically failing to mention the millions of firearms that were not used in crimes as well as your insinuation that the millions of law abiding citizens are somehow to blame for the actions of criminal madmen.

I hope the payments you received from Mayor Bloomberg and the others who lie to strip us of our rights were worth it - assuming that "journalists" have anything related to a conscience when it comes to promoting an agenda at the cost of the truth. How about turning the tables on the leftist's to defend our childrens rights.

We as parents and guardians make choices for our kids every day. There will come a point in their lives, where they will want to make their own choices on how best to defend their families. That is quintisentially what the Bill of Rights is all about, preserving rights from generation to generation.

Not only are we fighting to preserve our rights, right now, but we are fighting to preserve their rights and the rights of future generations who have yet to be heard.

Hope that makes some sort of sense.

A point I've made recently, especially in light of how even handed and rational the attitude of the leftists has been. With all the talk of killing gun owners for the acts of the criminal and insane that suddenly became acceptable after Newtown, there's not a lot of examples of how they'd honor any of the remaining Amendments after the 2nd was done away with.
