One of my hobbies is high end computer stuff, but its getting more and more painful these days to post on those forums because 95% of the posters are pinko commie socialist pussies. Somebody started a thread about 3D printed guns and it escalated into a gun control conversation.
Look at what this poor misguited soul from NZ posted

Seiously? If you read my post you'd have seen the part where guns are "rare" in NZ and are heavily regulated to the point you need four licenses in order to do what an US citizen can do when he turns 18. If you need something for self-defence you use non-lethal methods until the authorities arrive. You shoot someone with your own firearm with the intent of 'self-defense' and you can get trialed for attempted murder.
This is what I mean by the flip-sides of different societies. You don't fight fire with fire, you try to put it out using another method. There's nothing stopping you from letting you get a license to own firearms except yourself. As long as you can prove that you are a responsible person that will not use them to enroach on others rights (this includes the criminal's right to live which you put at jeopardy if you fire at them in the cause of self-defence) then there is absolutely no reason you cannot own them. I personally own a .22 and .17 longrifle and a Ruger 10/22 because I passed my license requirements.
And please, computer systems can be a instigator but not a means of death. You can't murder somone with a computer directly
Looool, the criminals right to live!!! That is the funniest thing I have ever heard right next to computer systems being and instigator of death but not a means. A computer can be a tool of death just like a gun, ask any DRONE operator. Man I want to respond back, but the pussy admins locked the thread
