The driver was not listed as the car's owner, and the photo on the driver's license he presented did not look like him, Hastings said. The man told the trooper the car belonged to his fiance.
When the trooper searched the fiance's name on Facebook, he saw that she was "in a relationship" with 42-year-old Kerry Prowse of Portland, who was wanted on felony warrants for parole violation and gun and drug charges.

I thought about that today. It's going to be nuts. Imagine the folks born 10 years ago will be running for offices in 20-30 and social media won't be a new thing to them, it will have most likely documented there entire lives.

We have a had a couple of them fired for stuff they posted...sometimes very benign stuff.  I don't put anything work related on FB.

Me neither. I use a different name on my page and post absolutely nothing work related.

A guy I worked with got hemmed up and bumped off a special unit because he posted some rant about how much illegal immigration pissed him off

Do you live in the People's Republic of Portland?  Reading is fundamental.

I was expecting this to be something like, the cop ran the guys plates while he was driving, got his info, then added him, and then arrested him for using the phone while driving or w/e. That would've probably made me angry, this, however, I cannot be mad about.
