At that time I was watching carefully, and saw it coming. I kept ranting about it to friends, but most seemed not to take it seriously. Most kept telling me I was nuts and that it would never happen. You're certainly right though, about there having been talk for quite a while before that. I think that may have been what lulled some folks into a false sense of security. Who knows. All I know is that being able to tell people "I told ya so" didn't make me feel any better. Seems like more people are awake this time, but lots of people go back to sleep very easily. We've gotta keep people paying attention.
