I just changed phone companies at work. Dumped anti-2nd AT&T and signed on with:www.2ndamendment.com For my account their rates are much lower than AT&T on interstate calls. Marathon USA also donates piece of your phone bill to the Pro 2nd Amendment organization of your choice. For me it looks like I will have lower phone bills. Your mileage may vary. Compare them to your existing phone company before changing. Their out of state charge is 9.5 cents per minute anywhere in the USA. In state long distance charge is 10 cents per minute. I found them by their ad in the Sept. 2002 issue of "The Outdoor Message" published in MA by the Gun Owners Action League.

The link doesn't seem to work for me. If I copy and paste it into my browser it works OK. Anyone know why?

I have Marathon USA as my main long distance carrier. I do not make many long-distance phone calls and if I do, I usually just use my cell phone since long distance is free on it.
But one of the nice things about Marathon USA is that they only charge you for the calls you make, where other companies like AT&T charge you monthly service charges even if you don't make any long distance phone calls.

For some reason, copterdocter's link creates an invalid address: http://20http://www.2ndamendment.com

the address should just be http://www.2ndamendment.com

Thanks ArmaLiter. Try again http://www.2ndamendment.com What got my attention on my last AT&T bill was they were hitting me for 68 cents per minute on out of state calls. I was also mostly calling "800" type toll free calls to save money. My month's bill before taxes got down to $43. AT&T added a charge of $11.95 because my bill got down under $50 per month. They billed me $55 because my useage was less than $50. WTF?? It's like when my customers come in and I don't think they spent enough money in my store. I should just add $11.95 to their bill! Yeah, Right.
