Called BATF today...
Woman said Gun & Silencer are "Pending July 17th" What the hell does that mean ? I talked to my C3 dealer last night, and he said he's got about a dozen or so guys still waiting from that timeframe... He also said he just got a form 4 back for a silencer and it only took 4 weeks start to finish... Seems there's no method to ATF's madness... |

Pending means that they've started processing it.
Now, you're waiting for "Approved". As you say, there is no method to ATF's madness. My M16 was approved during the tail end of the Anthrax BS. My buddy's MP5 was submitted a month before my M16 was and still isn't approved. |

The standard response is 90 from when it went pending. I think they have been running a little sooner than that. Mine went pending June 20th and it was approved August 22nd and I picked it up 9/11. I'm not sure when it got to my dealer. The nitwits lost my number and didn't call.
