What do you think Saddam's game plan is?  I think he will allow the inspectors in without condition, wait until they get close to some weapons, stall for about a month, and then go back on his word.  Since he let the inspectors in he will claim he did as they wished and shouldn't be attacked.

This would be a fine plan becuase the US needs more time to wrap up in Afganistan and get more troops in the Gulf.

UNITED NATIONS — In order to "remove any doubts" it still has weapons of mass destruction, Iraq agreed Monday to allow the return of weapons inspectors, according to a letter sent to U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan.

Considering that the Inspectors did their job the first time, their isn't much they can find this time. Saddam is doing this in the hopes that the US won't attack. But Bush wants war, regardless of the reason and consequences.

Yeah, that's why almost all the inspectors said they thought Saddam was hiding his weapons production facilities.  But facts are a little thing that don't seem to interest you.

Bush has very good reasons, but you don't seem to have the ability to reason.

Amen. As if having someone running around threatening us with WMD isn't reason enough...

The classic stall tactic !

Saadam will be eliminated in spite of this feeble attempt to put off the inevitable !

And where would he hide these? Nowhere. He couldn't.

Speak for yourself. All the facts point to Saddam as not being a threat to us.

Again speak for yourself. Instead of defending your position, you call people names. That shows a lack of reason.

The "unconditional" agreement comes with one stipulation.  Inspections are for military bases ONLY.

No civilian areas an be searched (schools, mosques, hospitals).

So much for UNCONDITIONAL

Do you have some first hand knowledge that the rest of us are not privy to?

And, NO, the inspectors never finished the job the first time, Saddam ran them out.

Where did someone call you a name in this thread?

Tell us the real reason why you defend Saddam so much.  Inquiring minds really want to know.

Man, if I were these weapons inspectors, I would be a little hesitant.  If the US does anything threatening while they are there, Saddam has himself some hostages.
