I was just curious...
Are there any other pro-gun celebrities other than Charleton Heston, Ted Nugent, and Tom Selleck???  I can't think of anyone else.

Yes unfortunately the pro gun celebrities keep it a much better secret than the anti's do.

Jesse Ventura makes a yearly trip to Camp Ripley to fire the MN National Guard's equipment. He says he loves it.

He also had a CCW permit issued to himself in 1998 and claims to be a daily carrier. Of course the press had to go after him about it. He defended his right very well during the interviews.

Don't know how much pro-gun she is, but Madonna was learning to shoot trap with her new husband.

I wish Jesse Ventura would allow the rest of us MN residents an option to carry.

Bob Hope supposedly had a large collection, as did Mel Torme.  Of course, Lee Marvin.  I've heard Charlie Sheen is also a gun nut, but doesn't (can't?) own any.  J.J. Jackson, one of the original MTV VJ's.

He says he will give it the OK. The bill was duing pretty good the last I heard.

The first stage went through the committee at 13-6 I believe.

I had heard it passed step 2 about 10 days ago but not sure. The news didn't give it any coverage that evening. They said it had been voted on earlier that day. Rumers on another board said it had passed.

It should have just one more vote and then it goes to the governer's desk.

I feel lucky to have a pro-carry Sheriff, as are all of the Sheriffs around here. I still do all the campaigning and writing though. Good Luck

The Minnesota RTC bill is in the House this week, Jesse will sign it if it makes it to his desk. The problem is passing the Senate. So start writing and calling your Senator(s). This is the farthest it has come so far, let's don't loose it now.

I seen REBA also made the front cover of GunGames magazine. Don't much care for her though.

I felt bad when I saw my sweetheart SHANIA TWAIN on the ANTI-GUN list.

Lynard Skynard wants the guns "Dumped in the sea." Ever listen to 'Saturday Nght Special'.

Charlie Danials calls himself a faciest and believes, "An Eye for an Eye". I was really impressed with his bio I watched this weekend.

I've seen videos of James Hatfield of Metalica out duck hunting.

Cathrine Bach(Daisy Duke) ownes hunting land about 40 miles north of my farm.

Jason Priesley of 90210 makes a trip to Bemidji, MN every year during deer season. Stays at a place called Ruckers Resort. So does 'Cuter' from the Dukes of Hazzard and Charles Schwabb. My 'ol Lady worked there for many years and got to meet them all.

Not firearms related but I once got to sleep in the same bed that Faith Hill had slept in. Too bad it had to be weeks later. We were working along the Candian Border in the MN town Reoseu. She had did a concert up there earlier that season. Just had to brag a little.

Add to the PRO-gun list:
Ricky Schroder - He appeared with Heston during a debate.
Dawn Wells
Lou Ferrigno
Robert Culp

and I think, but I'm not sure...
Bo Derek

Guess who supposedly owns the LARGEST gun collection in the State of California!
Steven Spielberg
Ironically, he's also one of the DNC's largest contributors.

Madonna and Steven Spielberg fall into the same category as Dianne Feinstein and Rosie O'Donnell. They absolutely want to have guns, they just don't want you and I to have them.

[rant]After all, they're the American aristocracy and they don't want the great unwashed, the peasants, to have access to firearms. That would make their comfortable life of luxury that much more at risk, wouldn't it? I mean, they know what they're doing, but we're just a bunch of bumpkins who can barely get ourselves out of bed and into the shower everyday. I mean, what if some unpopular legislation has to be instituted, for our own good, of course? If we have guns, we might have the means to effectively block or undo it, and that wouldn't serve the Utopian state, would it?[/rant]

There's a major difference between being pro gun, and being a genuine 2nd amendment defender.

On three occassions I have requested the help of Ted Nugent for various national pro gun efforts, only to be told he is too busy. The latest attempt was for the 2nd Amendment Sisters counter march in DC last Mother's Day.

Rosie wasn't too busy to steal our rights. Neither was Hillary. Nor was Ellen Degenerate and her girl friend. Neither were any number of other anti-gun celebrities. But could we get an ounce of help for our side? Ha! What a joke.

Until some of these so called pro-gun celebrities start pitching in, for real, they're all antis in my book. Screw em.

That's why I fully support and promote, where ever possible, bands like Poker Face, who spend a lot of their own time and money to promote the 2nd and play at any rallies they can, on their own dime. http://www.pokerface.com

Check out their site, buy a CD, and support a true freedom loving band.

David Lee Roth (formerly of Van Halen).  I was shooting next to him at a range in Santa Anita PRK.  He had a couple of really nice stainless Sigs.  He was laying a hurting on the target.  I think he was imagining that it was Eddie Van Halen or something.

Madonna and her socialist husband are assholes, not pro at all.  I don't know were you got Sarah Michelle Gellar but I recall her being a big time anti-democrap.  Even if she is pro, she is still one homely looking chick.  Like said before Aaron Tippen owns his own gun shop. (Anyone in Nashville area that can check it out?)  Charlie Daniel's was on the G. Gordon Liddy show and someone called asking about what guns he likes and he said 'all' he also added, I own a .22lr a .460 Weatherby Mag and everything in between.  I have also heard, but not verified, that Heather Locklear is on our side. Hopefully we will find and or verify more in the next issue of the Blue Press.

Going hunting and being a 2nd supporter have little in common.

If somebody doesn't voice his or her opinion on the subject, that person is NOT a supporter of the right to keep and bear arms.

I know a alot of people who have nothing against hunting but don't want us to own "assault-style" rifles or handguns.

Like what's been said before: Just because someone owns a bunch of guns doesn't make them pro-gun.

Most of the rich celebrities who own guns will give them up as soon as the govt. says so. They view them as nothing more than fun "toys".

And many have an "elitist" attitude. "What's okay for me is not okay for the peasants."

He is "pro-gun", eh? Why do people think just because some actor- a person who devotes his entire life pretending to be someone he isn't, uses guns in their movies they are automatically a defender of the 2nd Amendment???? Ever hear of sylvester stallone???
99% of the hollywood elite couldn't even tell you what the Bill of Rights is, but can spout off everything in the communist manifesto.

"But he'd face unique problems: That name won't fit on a bumper sticker. There's the
thick Austrian accent. And millions of photos exist showing him brandishing scary, bazooka-size firearms. "I believe in sensible gun controls," Schwarzenegger says. "Definitely, I'm against assault weapons."

I don't think many of them even know what a true assault weapon is.

AR15 .223 vs. bolt action .223...they'd ban both if they were in charge.

I think others have hit the nail on the head...its fine for them to own guns but the general public shouldn't have them.

I've not seen a Stallone movie since he came out against firearms publicly.  If Arnold really did say he was against firearms, I'll be boycotting his movies, etc. also.

They only understand one thing:  money.  So I choose to spend my money elsewhere supporting those who support the Second Amendment & the RKBA.

Newsweek:
"The Brady Bill rests on a largely unsupported assumption that (it) will somehow reduce handgun crime. There is no real proof of this." Newsweek, October 11, 1993

I'm not really certain about his politics, but Don Imus certainly acts as if he's pro-gun.

Who else do you know who appears regularly on television (MSNBC) packing a revolver in his belt?

I'm sure he's talked about his NYC gun permit (courtesy of Bo Dietel??) on his show, but I've never heard him say a word about it. It may be that he's only one of those elitists who think that only they and their body guards should be armed.  Does anyone know, for certain?
