My mom frequently goes to local auctions and yesterday one of the auction owners was talking to my mom during a preview of the auction that there would be some "machine gun parts" at the auction today. When she told me this i asked if she would take some pictures and text them to me while i was at work today. I was figuring it would be some old surplus barrels or stocks nothing special. So today when i got the text i realized it was 2 complete demilled ar-15 lower receivers and 3 complete a2 upper receivers that were partially demilled. Needless to say i told her to get them all if they went cheap enough. I couldnt check my phone for a couple hours at work and when i went on lunch i had a text from my mom and she got all the parts for $50 bucks! The receivers are toast and so are 2 of the barrels but i now have 3 A2 uppers, 2 almost complete lower parts kits and 2 a2 stocks, buffers, etc. I was glad to get all the parts but i was sad when i realized what one of the destroyed lowers and one of the destroyed barreled uppers used to be, I was holding in my hands a destroyed Colt National Match HBAR sorry for the shitty iphone pictures...

What in the bloody blue fuck happened to those guns?

Nice score by the way.

i think they were demilled military contract weapons? both receivers were smashed with a hammer and 2 of the three barrels had a cut in them from an angle grinder.

Or reprofile them to lighter barrels, depending on how deep/where.

Check the serial numbers of the lowers.
If they are AR15 lowers see if Clot will remanufacture them for you.
