It is whatever you make of it. Lot's of fatties, uglies, and liars on the site...but that is no different than real life.

There is a whole thread about it here. It has lots of good information, good and bad stories, and general talk about the site.

No,it sucks. Too many fatties, single moms, or snobby girls. Ive had better luck meeting women at the dog park and Barnes and Noble.

I was on there for a while until last year, didn't seem that bad... Signed back up in December.. holy shit, it's all fatties and baby mommas now. It's horrible!

POF= Photos Often Fake

Look at the girls pic. Then add 5-10years, 20-50lbs, and 2-3 pregnancies. And that if it's even her pic and not her younger sister.

Several threads have been posted in the past about how to pull some serious ass on POF and other dating sites. I fail to see how getting laid could be a bad thing, wrap it and tap it.

The only site I ever trolled was POF!

Saw what turned out to be my future wife. Cute and no kids!

Went on one date. Been together 6 years and married for four.

Match, in my area, is much better. Some girls have profiles on both, but the ones that only have one on Match seem to be OK from the couple I've met on there. POF has a ton of flakes, single moms, and women who use fake pictures. Only met 1 chick from POF, she was 47(I was 26 at the time), and I thought I would just fo and get laid. Lo and behold it didn't happen, and she blew up my phone for days after even after I told her the pics weren't 100% accurate(they were her, though) and I never wanted to talk to her again. Match's quality also just seems to be higher in this area, lots of uglies on POF but not a ton on Match.
