I have a red mutt named Killian.

It's one of my favorite cheap beers.

I paid 4 bucks a six pack for that 20 years ago. I was not aware they still made it.

Smooth going down, no unpleasant after-taste. Already farting, but that's not out of the ordinary for me!

It's good stuff for what it is, but I think Shiner makes better beers in the same vein.

Just sitting here drinking a few watching a Lawrence Welk rerun.

It's drinkable, but a red "ale" shouldn't be a lager. If you like Killian's step up to Murphys Red or Smithwicks at least.

I was never a fan. I did pick up some great lakes Eliot Ness today that was good. That all went downhill quick when I started drinking moonshine. Currently feeling very weird.

Wife calls that stuff "rubbing alcohol". I guess I like to rub up on her whilst under it's spell

That's really funny.  I'm drinking one right now.  Haven't had them in years and picked up a 6'er at the gas station last night.

Weird...b/c it's made by Coor's

It's fucking Coor's with caramel in it.

So whenever you're out somewhere and want to order one and it's on the "import" list...tell them get fucking bent. It's made in fucking CO.

I wish they would make caramelized beer the old fashioned way. Roll a red hot boulder into a vat of beer.

Ok well OP is out of this thread and I have drank 2 Killian's and popped an Ambien.  I'm out for bed.  Good night sweeties.

A-fucking-men!

It's Coors for fuck's sake!

I also get laugh when we got to dinner and it's listed on the "Import" beer list.

To the OP, there are much better beers for the same money out there.

Just because it's made ny Coors doesn't mean it tastes like Coors.   At $10-11 a 12 pack you aren't going to find any super awesome micro beers at that price.

Learn to enjoy a cheap beer once in awhile and you will live a much happier life.

OP if you want a great beer anything from Deschutes Brewery out of Bend, Oregon will do.  I've traveled a bit in the service and sampled some very good beers in different counties, and some from outstanding ihome brewers..  The stuff Deschutes Brewery puts out rivals the very best made.  Whether it's an Obsidian Stout, Bachelor Bitter, Jubile Ale, etc it's all top of it's class.  Don't know how far east they distribute but if you haven't had any yet it's well worth your time.  My two cents....

It's not bad...just eh.

And the import thing really pisses me off.
