Standard. Because it cost more.

More $$$$ means more dynamic capability for tactical operative situations.

O I guess the aperture looks the same from the pics I saw, but the mount is different for sure.

you need to make a third option.  what about the people that just want to see the results(like myself) that have never tried either/or.  it will scew the results.

The front post on the KAC micro is half as wide as the Troy front post.

That to Me makes it easier to hit small targets at distance with irons.

Yea I figured irons would be used at longer ranges so no need for the larger aperture/footprint on the troy.
