They suck.
Which is why I use Standard Editor. Oh, on occasion I MIGHT find something that is best used on the WYSIWYG editor, but the last time I did the results were ugly.

The WYSIWYG editor is good for embedding videos. Maybe just switch back and forth between editors each time? I can't remember how to do it.

You just need to use the video button (which puts [ youtube ] [ /youtube ] around your video link). It isn't rocket science. I leave it that way just because it's easier to imbed videos.
eta Now that I think about it you can't imbed videos at all if you use the other one, IIRC. eta again Apparently I'm wrong about everything I'm posting in this thread. Just ignore me  |

I use the standard editor and type all of my code manually -- [url], [img], [b], [u], [i], [s], etc. I also embed videos the same way.

for me, the problems only started after the last board update. WYSIWYG worked fine for a long time, then div and span went crazy.
would probably be easier just to go back to standard and manually entering tags, but it's so much more convenient to do pics and video in the new editor.
