In my opinion, there isn't a big gulf between 17 and 22. Yes it's five years, but most 22 year old girls are just that; girls.

Is it just me, or does it seem like there's at least one of these each week? Seems to be happening with greater frequency, or, the incidents are being reported now more than they used to be. Have teachers and coaches always been this slutty but kids today have no sense of OPSEC?

She did something highly inappropriate and should definitely lose her job. But IMO, an adult consensually messing around with a 17 year old should not be a criminal offense. By the age of 17, you should have enough sense to decide whether you're going to be sexually active or not, and it's not the fault of the other party that you consented. 16? Pushing it, but should still be legal. 15 and under - no. |
