I have recently been the victim of theft. Trying to decide whether having the sticker on my truck is a bad idea if I keep a weapon in the vehicle.
ETA: So far, it looks like I'll be going home tonight and removing my NRA Life sticker. Sucks but maybe it draws too much attention. |
I'd love to. In a perfect world I would. The parking lot I park in at work is loaded with Obummer stickers. I'm concerned about damage to my vehicle. (I work in higher ed...)

I have a round NRA sticker on my car.
I never leave my firearms (or anything else valuable) in the car. At this point, if they stole the car and/or destroyed it, I'd be doing well with my replacement check from insurance. Bring on the car thieves! |
I'd love to also but I'm wondering if it's a good idea. There are sure a lot of "Coexist" and "Obama/Biden" etc. etc. stickers around here. My car would get vandilized.
I don't put any stickers on my car.
Mostly because I think it looks tacky, but a little bit because I don't want some butthurt schmuck keying my car because I have different opinions than him. |
I voted yes, but I don't have a sticker, I have NRA license plates.
I'm not sure why you would leave a gun in your car if you are not in the car? I'm sure there is a case for it from time to time but I don't think a sticker would make a difference.

With my parking situation for work and being in a VERY LIBERAL area, my vehicle would be defaced almost immediately.
I do sport a BFL logo though since it would take some work for them to figure out what that means. |
No. But not because of the thief angle. I don't have any stickers on my truck because I'm not an attention whore and I'd rather people didn't look at me. To each his own though...
No stickers that identify me as owning guns or any other expensive equipment that criminals may want to steal. |
Just a BFL nothing else.
Then not many people know what it is so it does not represent a problem. |
I have the small round sticker and a LaRue Dillo Grenade sticker on my little truck's cap back window. They arent really that noticeable. Im going to order a couple of BFLs soon too.

I work in a bank and frequently go to public sporting events so both do not allow concealment. I'm debating on replacing it with a FBHO sticker. I'd be concerned about defacement but dont think the FSA would know its meaning. |

Rear window of my truck. Around here (Quantico area), to the uninformed, they probably assume it is a Marine Corps sticker unless they look close.

Voted 'NO' for a different reason.
I drive too, shall we say, enthusiastically, and I don't want that to reflect on the NRA. |

I've had an NRA sticker on my car for the last 12 years at least - parking on a large university campus every day No damage or vandalism so far. |

No, I don't put any stickers on my vehicles. Mine is fairly new so I still don't put any stickers on it, but once it gets more banged up I will. |

OPSEC = no stickers of any kind on my vehicle I used to have a couple gun related stickers on my vehicle, but lately I'm of this opinion. |

On my truck and camper but not on my car or my wife's car. I have a BFL on all my vehicles including a small one on my Harley.

No due to unwanted attention from haters, not so much thieves. Although every time I see BO sticker I wish I had a Gadsden sticker or pro life sticker to put over it.
No.
I don't have any firearm related stickers on any of my vehicles. I don't need any "gun guy" identifiers on my vehicle, keeps the break-ins to a minimum. |

I have a Gadsden magnet on the tailgate. Before the haters come in and think my truck is stickered up like a dirty liberal, I have the NRA sticker and a Krav Maga sticker on my back window and the Gadsden Flag magnet and Checkers magnet on the tailgate. That's it. |

Yes. As a college student at a very liberal university, I am tired of gun ownership being portrayed as something only the extremist fringe take part in and not something for normal, well-adjusted individuals. Most people around here have never seen a gun in person. I want to make it more normal for them. An NRA sticker on my car may seem like something small and irrelevant, but it helps to make gun owners more a part of everyday life and less foreign. It's easier for people to criticize "the NRA" and "the gun lobby" because they are nameless, faceless entities. It's much harder to do that when it is a friend, neighbor, or classmate.
Obviously, this may not be the situation in areas where gun ownership rates are high, but I think it is important here. I also understand the concern of people who keep guns in the car, but I don't keep anything valuable in mine, so I'm not worried about theft. |
I have one on my 1986 4Runner but never leave guns in it except when I'm hunting and swing into town for whatever reason. I do not have any stickers on the Buick and keep a pistol & rifle in the car at all times along with my get-home-bag. |

Yes, but not for the reason listed on your poll. ^^^ This |

Nope. I don't any any sticker on my truck other then a Magnaflow Exhaust sticker that the exhaust shop gave me when they installed my new cats and cat back exhaust. I use to work in car sterio and alarm and sterio stickers were refered to as steal me stickers. To many people came in the shop with broken in to cars from alarm & sterio stickers. People without sterios but with a alarm sticker would come for wiring repairs and say someone broke into my car and took nothing. I put gun stickers in that same class. Now my tool box is another story. Lol

Only sticker I've had on my vehicle is "nothing in here is worth your life" haven't been broken into yet.

Any type of sticker draws unwanted attention. This could be from a thief, a liberal, someone with road rage, an LEO....etc. Why attract unnecessary attention to yourself?
Nope.
"Conservative" stickers/signs = "Random" criminal acts against my property It is too Blue where I live. |
Fail, I can't selection option A AND C
I represent. Gun owners shouldn't hide in the shadows. We must be at least as vocal as the liberal left. |
