Dave Barry can be outrageously funny, I love his stuff. But his best writing is serious.
In one of his books he recounts a trip from Hong Kong into mainland China. With a keen eye and searing wit he tells what so many writers wouldn't, that the communist system is soul-killing decadence. Its in one of his books, and well worth reading. It should be required reading for socialist/communist sympathizers. I just went and looked it up. Its in his book [b][i]Dave Barry is NOT making this up[/i][/b] in the chapter titled [b][i]The Great Mall of China.[/i][/b] |

Doesnt' reading this make you want to strangle the jackasses who insist that the plane was shot down and those on board did nothing. The final messages spoken by several indicates otherwise. God Bless them.
