John Walsh, the fellow that has the America's Most Wanted on Fox now has a new show. This a.m. he had a couple on that had their son "accidently" shot to death with a rifle by the son's friend. The couple described the incident and then Walsh brought the parents of the shooter on. The two couples sat next to each other on stage and the event was recounted. It was very emotional for both couples.
Walsh then brought a father on that advocates responsibile ownership and education. Walsh introduced him and he described that he has 7 children and teaches them about weapons and that he has several loaded ones in the home for self defense.
Gee, I wonder what happened next...the mother of the deceased son immediately began shouting at the man about getting a "$10.00 gun lock" and securing his guns. They did show a small video clip of the man w/his kids shooting some weapons in a safe manner. The gentleman tried to respond but of course wasn't able to because Walsh then began quoting.."there are 10 children killed a day accidentally by loaded guns..". The gentleman tried to refute the stats when the shooter's father got up and began to give his side.
Now I am not unfeeling and can sympathize with these people about this tragedy, but once again responsibility and common sense are the issues that should have been covered.
Ratings once again rule the day.

Why is it most of the time the person who is uninformed on a particular issue is the one who will not listen and goes on a tirade during an argument??
