Husqvarna's are great saws.
Mines been running great for about 4 years now. |

Quoted: I want a chainsaw. Good deal? Refurb? I have a 435 that I beat the hell out of, still runs great. I prefer my 445 though. Easier starting, little more power. In before Stihl snobs. |

I literally have no need for a chainsaw, unless a hurricane rips through.
I still want one. For zeds. Ultimate zed weapon. Period. |

Quoted: No snob here. I bought a Stihl MS-361 and recommended a 346XP to a friend who loves it. Quoted: I want a chainsaw. Good deal? Refurb? I have a 435 that I beat the hell out of, still runs great. I prefer my 445 though. Easier starting, little more power. In before Stihl snobs. |

I have been considering a Chainsaw for home defense.
I wonder what is scarier... The sound of a shotgun racking or a chainsaw revving up? |
|
Quoted: I want a chainsaw. Good deal? Refurb? It's a good deal. Get a saw that's much more powerful than you think you'll ever need. It' more flexible because it lets you put a bigger bar on it, it saves the motor some wear because it won't be maxed out, and it will be much more pleasant to use. Few things are more irritating than an underpowered saw. I can live with a heavier saw, but not with a weaker one. |

I figured I'd get a small, cheap one considering usage would be very little. With free shipping, I did 2 day shipping for $4. I never know if I'll be at home next week so that was an easy and cheap upgrade as well. |

I really want the 18" 445 but the promo code doesn't work for me. Anyone get it to work?

I just started breaking in my Honda Generator the other day. I gotta adjust something due to the "recall" but that'll take all of 5 minutes. Now I'll dedicate a gas can to two cycle. |

And when a hurricane hits where will you get gas/oil mix for it?
Don't drain. Use Marine gas if you can get it. It has no ethanol and is good for 1 year. You can also find many gas stations that have ethanol free gas and just add some stabil(and of course synthetic oil). If you can't find a reason to use a chainsaw at least once a year than you hath thy derp. Quoted:

I store 91 octane ethanol free gas with pri-g in metal 5 gallon cans. I also have plenty of 2 stroke mix and bar oil. Mix and go. 1 gallon of gas will run a chainsaw a loooooong time, let alone how much I store. I don't understand why the less than 1 quart in the saw would make a difference. |

Pretty sure I bought this saw from you...Ms460

Do I need a chainsaw? . . . . . . . . Woot now I have a chainsaw!!!!!!!!!! |
|
Anybody know why I'm paying sales tax to ship to Nevada? Warehouse appears to be in NE....
|
|
Yes, it is a great deal. I have one of the 445's from VM. Great saw and good customer service.
|
|
Purchased the 445 a few years ago., from VM.
Nice saw. Be sure to release the brake before removing bar cover, or it's a bitch to get back on. A you tube video showed how to install if brake was left on. |

Thanks. I nearly bought a chainsaw last summer but held off. I'm glad I did now. 140 bucks for a 16" Husky delivered is a deal I could not pass up.

I called and asked. Only the 435 code is still active. I really wanted a 450, but I don't really need that big of a saw. Yes, I panic bought a saw also. I got a 435. I had to borrow my neighbors Stihl just last weekend and it ran like crap.

FYI
The comments section of that site are VERY hit or miss on these refurbs. Some are DOA and some are GTG. Be warned, and post up reslts once you get your refurb Husky's. In other news, my 346XP (bought new) is a bad mofo, but I have run out of trees to cut! -ZA |
