Striker I am planning to check with my FFL.(check your e-mail) He sells Enfields. He may even have one but I doubt it. Importing a LE may be easy, I just dont know.

I have one (1944 vintage).. Someone explain why they have become so scarce?

I agree with Meplat. I also think the SMLE was the best COMBAT bolt rifle ever fielded. The only improvement would have been adopting a rimless case, but that can be debated. The Germans made a rifle for hunting. The Americans made a rifle for target shooting. The Brits made a rifle for killing the enemy! |
