Three chain type restaurants closed in the city near me in the last two months. This newfangled "green" economy isn't kind to the restaurant biz.

That is the most disgusting place I have ever ate at. My story: Paid. Went to get food. I went up to get a plate and saw a 400 lb human piece of shit dump the remains of a meat entree off of a large serving plate onto the bar. She then used the serving plate to load desserts. I was dumbfounded ... I muttered under my breath (I thought) ... "Jesus Christ that would founder a horse." She looked at me and screamed "My husband is gonna kick your Ass!!!" She waddled back over to her table and told her piece of shit, scrawny assed, meth head,135 lb, husband something I couldn't hear. He stood up ... looked me over and sat back down. I was shocked ... I never moved ... An attractive young female employee came over with a big and said "Welcome to Ryan's sir ... another day in paradise"
My wife lost it, I thought she was gonna pass out from laughing so hard. I ate of plate of the nasty assed, sub par, they could take a lesson on quality from fucking mc donalds, food and walked out the fucking door. Never to darken their doorstep again. Good riddance! |

One here in Mt Vernon Ohio had the employees come in one morning with the doors locked and a note on the door saying the place was closed. No warning - nothing. Huge dram n this little town. Since then I have heard similar stories in a few other locations.
I ate there rarely but never had a problem with it. Sounds like that company is next on the chopping block. |

Chains are closing because they are over extended. During good economic times they tend to expand too quickly and in markets that aren't that great. Once the economy is in a downturn those locations don't have what it takes to survive. Thinning out the weak. Steakhouses in general are a dying culinary concept. They had their day but it's not a fashionable or popular trend anymore. Plus, profit margins are razor tight on steakhouses and you need really good management to keep them profitable even when there's high revenue. |
