My wife took to the S&W Bodyguard. I kinda like it too. I can put it in my front pocket and leave no real identifiable print.

At the moment, just Dad and my wife.  I know Dad carries regularly, trying to get the wife to do it more (especially while I'm away...)  I don't know how often she does, but I reminded her the other day when she was meeting somebody from freecycle/craigslist or something that it'd be a good idea. She agreed.

Mom carries a  Ti 5-shot .357

Another, my Uncle, is retired LE, FFL, carries whatever he feels like that day.

The rest of us live where the sun does not shine.

My family thinks gun rights are important, are in the NRA and own guns.

The fact that there have been exactly 2 murders in the past 13 years in the town they live in may have something to do with their disinclination to carry.  Older folks are hard to convince.  Dad has been around for 50+ years and never needed to carry a gun, so he doesn't see the point in bothering with it now.  I understand why he sees the world that way, given his location.  It would still make me happier if they'd bother to carry.  At least he's ready to defend himself in the house.

Yes, my father does.  He is 78 years old.  He doesn't always carry though.  Just sometimes.  I wish he would always carry, but I can't tell him much.

My BIL used to, but let his license lapse.  I think he might renew it though, based on recent discussions with him.

My brother and I both carry.

My soon to be father in law carries

My soon to be wife is going to be carrying as soon as I am financially able to get her a gun.

I have been trying to get my mom to carry. She has never shot a gun for some reason but she wants too.

My father, I would report his dumb ass if I heard he was carrying. I don't think he is mentally fit to carry a gun. His tin foil was loose for a long time and consequently he is fucking crazy.

I wonder how many people are carrying when I am grocery shopping or doing other shit in town. I would have to assume that with the amount of robberies and murders reported that one of 2 things is happening:
1. The MSM will not report "A Win"
2. Not many people carry.

I know that #1 is accurate.
Not sure if #2 is.

My Ex did/does.

My Sister and BIL took the course, I believe, but don't have permits*, and they don't (that I know of) with any regularity, and only have 1 pistol between the two of them.

The BIL actually usually borrows a gun when we go camping, because my sister prefers the Pistol to the shotgun, and won't let him take it with him.  They have had cause to need the pistol at their house (no shots were fired, the guy got the idea REAL quick), but they still don't really take it out of the house.  (They bought a shotgun after that incident, more so both would be armed than for any other reason)

*-They took the class right before we eliminated the requirement to have a permit to CCW.  I know a lot of people who dropped their CCW permit at renewal, too.  It's not a huge advantage if you aren't buying a lot and want to bypass NICS.

Probably depends on where you are.

Here, #2 is not true. In Phoenix Metro, if you look, you'll find people printing.  Quite a few, really. I don't think they're worried about anything more than scaring the tourists. People who notice don't care.

It's probably a little more rare in Sedona, Flagstaff, Tucson - those are the liberal bastions.

Most of the rest of the state doesn't really bother with CCW.  Open Carry is pretty common.

I have never seen anyone open carry in my state other than my dad. He used to carry his .38 revolver. I also recall that no one gave a shit either.
