Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Got any AR15.com T-shirt stories...?

I've worn my T-shirt a lot.  It gets "seen"...

A few weeks ago I was at the range with my Daughter when one of the guys on the line came up and introduced himself as "blu elky"(sp.?) from AR15.com.

Tonight, the guy at the gas station was reminded of a conversation we had about the Forum.  He served in Desert Storm.

Have you encountered fellow members/lurkers or other enthusiasts of the "Black Rifle" while proudly wearing your AR15.com shirts?

I was at jury duty about a month ago wearing my grey BRC shirt, which lead to a conversation with a guy behind me in the waiting room.  He's was a former FFL and fan of the Sport Utility Rifle.

ive had a few hey cool shirt. but so far havent meet anyone from the board cuz of it.

I answer LOTS of gun-related questions posed to me as a result of wearing gun-related shirts, including my AR15.com shirts.  But I have yet to run into another board member as a result of them.

Gunbert and I were at dinner one night with some friends and he had the red "Woodstock" shirt on from the BRC. Some loser comes up and says "I hope your guns don't kill your kids" one of the lovely ladies at our table said"Why don't you go fuck yourself", and he walked away. In Gunbert's defense he had a mouthful of food so he couldn't respond, I was at the other end of the table and didn't even hear him say it.
