I'm thinking of getting one in 4.5-14 power with the mil dot reticle. Does anyone have any experience with these? How are they quality wise, What do you feel they are worth?
Thanks.

If anyone is interested in getting one here is the link.

One of the best of the 'budget' scopes.

I've got the exact scope with traditional cross-hairs. Excellent scope for the money.

I have a 3-9x on my 30-06 that has been fantastic.  Nice and clear.

IMO most anything with the name Nikon is a great product.

I bought a monarch scope for my K-31 on sale for $200 and it''s the best $200 scope I've ever seen.

So for $219 for the 4.5-14 power with mildot, go for it?

Where you getting one for $219?  I have a couple of them I bought for around $300 each the last few years, they are fantastic scopes.  Best bang for your buck in that price range guaranteed.  I was not aware they are even cheaper now.  BUY BUY BUY you won't regret it.

I had one, forget the exact model; it was a mil-dot recticle one.

Used it on a 300WM for a couple years.
Great optic for the price, honestly never had an issue with it.

Zeroed easily, maintained it's zero and did what it was supposed to do.

Doubt you could go wrong with it if it is what your budget can afford right now.

I had a 6-18 on a 243 and it liked to lose its zero. I have a 4-14 on a 300 RUM and my brother has one on a 7mm RUM and they have been OK. Clarity isn't nearly as good as the Vortex Vipers I have on other guns.

Yes Sir. I have two of them and always keep my eye on the prices for a third. Great scope.

I got one in trade a couple years ago and was seriously impressed with the quality of their scope. I ended up selling it but I'd get one in a heartbeat if the specs matched what I wanted.

Nikon's great for more than just cameras.

Thank you for posting that link — but then again, I just spent another $219.

About all I have is Nikon scopes, although this is my first Buckmaster. They work just fine for me — nice and bright, and good contrast. I've shot with Nikon glass with cameras or rifle scopes (and binos) since 1971 and have never been disappointed. The one you listed should be an outstanding buy.
