Two fighters. A 2 seat MiG 21, and a MiG 25. I've also been in a number of fighter trainers (Iskra, L-39, T-28, Stearman). All neat stuff. The MiG 25 was an experience though. The Soviets can build fighter airplanes. They're meant for harsher stuff than our planes.

AC-130 Spectre gunship.

Not a "fighter", but does have ample munitions.[:D]

Only as an civilian observer...during a nightime live fire. Loud and awesome. I was invited to go as a guest with our local congressman.

Wish I could do it again!

None, never had much use for glamor boy fighter jocks. :-)
P-3 Orion guy myself with 200 hours flight and 3 hours stick time.
Remember, when the SHTF what would you rather see:
Tom Cruise shooting down a cute little Mig,
or
a P-3 taking out a ballistic missle sub that carries 50 city killer mirv nukes.

Dude I was in Supply, you just gotta know people. [;)]

edited to add:

Aviation Supply, so I got to know a lot of the pilots when they came in for their gear. Also a lot of the maintenance guys. That's how I got to sit in an F18.

None.

I did make it up a few times in the back seat of an OV-10, which, by my modest standards, was pretty exciting (sorta like a P-38, only slower [:(]).

CJ:  Shouldn’t there be one or two biplanes in that list of yours?  [:D]

You guys are lucky.  The closest that I ever got was sitting in the cockpits of the: F-4 Phantom, F14 Tomcat, and P-51 Mustang, and that was during an air show.

I think the real question is which weapon system is most favorite.

As for me its gotta be the 2.75 in rockets.

Thats a REAL PILOTS weapon!  Just stick and rudder (actually tail rotor)baby!

I love the smell of cordite in in the morning...IT IS THE SMELL OF VICTORY!
