Just found this on DrudgeReport.  I think this may hurt Bush in 2004.  If it becomes bigger news it might hurt the upcomming senate races.  Especialy if they see more division in the adminstration from a high profile guy like him.

He is pretty useless as far as being a diplomat.

I do believe General Powell will leave at the end of the first Bush term if not before.

Plainly Powell has refused to endorse this Iraq invasion idiocy.

Colin Powell is the reason Bush Sr. didn't take out Saddam.  He probably has a major problem with doing a pre-emptive strike against Saddam.  Bush needs to replace Powell with Schwarzkopf.

Colin Powell is a flaming liberal and a dove. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

President Bush should thank him for his help and wish him well.

I really can't say I like him either however he did give moderates a reason to vote for Bush.   It might not matter if we go to Iraq with a solid victory but I can see this hurting the Republican party in the future.  I guess this is another wait and watch.  What if he runs in 2008?

Powell does not help Bush in the states Bush won and needs to win again.

Powell helps Bush's image with the left wing News Media. As does Rice. But Rice does appear to be a genuine Republican. Powell is not a real Republican. He is a Republican In Name Only, at most.

So what if Powell decides to run for President in 2008. Why is he a credible candidate for president? Because he is an African? What makes you think he could win the Republican nomination?

Good riddance. He is a supporter of gun control.

What are you waiting for?

And Why announce it right before the elections?

Pond scum sucking puke eating useless piece of camel dung.

Short answer.....I don't know.  He could possibly win the Democratic vote and moderates if he whiched sides.  Which he could do if he was power hungry.  Seems pretty popular thing to do now anyway (switching sides that is ).

I personally can't wait to see him go.  He is a dove and always has been a dove.  He chooses inaction over our country's best interests every single time, and would no matter what.

Bye bye colin, love to see you go.
