It's 2:05 PM Central right now. I am running the Dell Diagnostics on a flaky Poweredge 6300 at work.
I plan on verifying each drive in the machine (3), and each drive takes a bit over 2 hours. The first drive is 67% complete. At least the server room is air conditioned. Plus, I have GTA3 on my laptop. Av. BTW: Novell Netware sucks ass. |
|
I'm sitting here in my cubicle wasting the company's time by brousing the board.... Ain't in grand? -Zaphod P.S. - You're right. Novell is a POS. |
|
What is GTA3?
I am surfing the web trying to figure out who to configure an IPX network - no clue so far - if anyone can help would be great. Other than that wasting company time - and being bored stiff |
|
Im thinking about what I had for lunch and I'm also realizing that what I had is trying to get out...one way or the other...soon =(
Gotta go... |
|
Now I'm browsing AR15.com, but I just got back from the range down the street(part if my go shoot at lunch diet) and shot
200 rounds HK MP5A3 100 rounds HK Tac with B&T Supressor 50 rounds Wilson Protector Compact(my carry gun) Now I'm gonna kill a couple hours cleaning guns, working a bit and get ready to enjoy a 3 day weekend[beer] Yep, lifes a bitch! |
|
On vacation watching the doggies who just had surgery. Wearing a Glock too because there was a home invasion a block away about two hours ago and the guy is still on the loose.

Replying to a dumb message [:)] before heading to the range at 3 to excercise some new thermolds in my new CAV-15. I did a 12 step program to recover from my stint as a Netware 3.x administrator. |
|
2:27 p.m.
Got back from a 2 beer lunch about 1/2 hour ago. Waiting for the senior partner to close the office early for the holiday weekend so we can go to the bar and give a departing co-worker a proper send-off. And, of course, wasting time on arfcom. |
|
lets see...spent the morning at the range (Ben Avery)...got back around 10:30 cleaned my weapons. washed my truck. now im watching the stock market in hopes ill be king of the investment gurus on AR15.com. its looking good with only 30 min. left until the market closes and the contest is over...the market would have to flip upside down in order for me to lose now.

GTA3 = Grand Theft Auto 3
I'm trying to figure out why I picked Technology as a career. Only problem is, I'm so far into computers I can't do anything else. (CNA, CNE, MCSE, CCNA, A+, blah, blah, blah). And I REALLY hate Novell. Drive 1: 83%. 2 more drives to go! Av. |

took the company laptop into the can to relax. Thank god for wireless networks. Nah, just dreaming about doing that.

On vacation, bowhunting for deer. Oddly enough, at this exact instant I happen to be attired in a mix of homemade ghillie & woodland camo, trying to find a rabbit breeder...
[NI] Off into the bush again! |

Sitting at work working on this infernal software demo while lurking around here and trying to decide what to stop and pick up for dinner on the way home.

Got out of work an hour early, but unfortunately it was because I had to pick up the boy at school because he's sick. Now just sitting here thinking about all the ways to spend the money I don't have while he sleeps. Dirk |

I like that it will handle full tilt .45lc and shoot relatively cheaper .45acp, though the accuracy falls off a bit with the acp rounds. Good luck finding the one you like. You also might want to try www.galleryofguns.com for the Davidson's gun locator. It puts out what you are looking for to gun shops in your area, then they email you with offers. Works pretty well. |

I'm just sitting here at my computer trying to enlighten people. Although I fear that I may have upset a few people who refuse to see the truth.

Funny how both posters from AZ have been shooting today. It's over 100 degrees and we still go out and shoot. We be bad! And that home invasion deal sucks! Do you have a dog? Seriously, my dogs give me at least a 2 minute warning when I have visitors.

Cranking Deep Purple's Machine head album and eating hot wings. (I'm such a loser)

They do scare the hell out of people that come to the door. I'm not really worried, locked doors and armed and all, but haven't heard wether they got the guy or not though. |

Right now I'm staring at Armalite rifles in my lil catalog and anxiously awaiting next Thursday. (Get to go to range! Woohoo!)

Bored out of my mind. Thinking about coming out of retirement or going to Europe and chasing down the lost love of my life. She called from York last night. Told her that was impossible because William Wallace sacked York.
On second thought I think I'll just stay here and be bored shitless. |

Loaded gear for a shoot tomorrow(photographic)and now sitting here rebuilding my post count.

Spent the afternoon stiing in my pool, Playmate cooler of ice-cold "green boys" by my side, trying to figure out what to do next in life.
BTW, I've been doing the exact same thing since our Dealership closed June 1st. Got Prune-skin! I'm getting too old and tired to break in a new bunch of guys at another Car Dealership but I'm not quite old enough to retire. Well, I got 3 more month of unemployment before I have to start thinking about straightening out. Anybody need a over-educated, underachiever in a real quiet auto parts store in the Sarasota, Fl. area? Hey, take your time. I got plenty more Heneis where they came from; I don't usually even drink at work. |

Trying to think about what is going to be the next bad thing that will happen to me.

Just finished eating a MOUND of spaghetti while watching "The Patriot" (Mel, not Steve) DVD for the millionth time on my 750 watt SONY surround sound rigged Sony 61" digital projection unit. Drinking my ???? triple Jack & Coke and waiting for my nightly human alarm clock to finish taking a shower so she can slip into her camo 38D bra and "4" panty set so we can play "prisoner of war."
Am I over sharing again? Damn, I'm using Peerless handcuffs! |

View Quote Where was this? -Troy View Quote Turns out it was a mid twenties mexican man who broke into the neighbors house while the woman was in the shower and accosted her and demanded money. Not sure what happened after that but he fled and as far as I know has not been found. Thought among the neighbors is that it might have been one of the California Conservation Corp. (i.e. criminals) that were working on the lot next door to the womans house all week. Didn't see anything in the paper this morning about it though. Oh well. |
