Place was very busy.  Not as packed as a Tulsa Wannamacher show, but busier than usual.

Some buying going on, but not crazy.

I think this is because people that are going to buy $2000 ARs already have.  Price on ARs was from about $1800 to over $3000.  None being bought at that price.

Other black rifle stuff (HKs, FALs etc...) all over $2000 with most over $3000.  I saw an FS2000 (what I was looking for) at $3500.  What... the...fuck...ever.

There were a lot less ARs than usual, probably because those that didn't raise prices way past stupid have already sold out.

One guy selling ammo at pre Sandyhook prices had nearly a clear table.  He made some coin.

People that were trying to get $1 a round for .223 weren't making any money.

C&R stuff was pretty much the same price.

Fudd stuff?  I have no idea.  Fudd stuff doesn't exist to me.  Might as well be beanie babies and scented candles.

Prices are going to have to start coming down if dealers are going to want to move stock.

Our gun shops in KC are bare, I mean bare.  A couple of Glocks, no ARs, no mags, no ammo.  Crazy week is over, hopefully supply will catch up soon.

Our gunshops are bare as well.  $1000 ARs will sell.  $1800 not very fast and over $2000 hardly at all.

I gotta admit, I've never heard "Dude, you were right" so many times in a week.  I profited, sold 1 for $1200 and one for $1500 to buddies that were on the fence about buying an AR, now it's time to restock.

Like the Fudd smash BTW.  Good shit.

Sounds like the local show here. I WAS looking for older firearms and scored a doozie. Sometimes it's nice to be looking for what everyone ISN'T looking for.

5.56 ammo was $14-$22 bucks a box, did see some sold but not a lot. Primers were flying off the tables though. Saw guys with 3 or 4 5000 count boxes apiece.

Did you go to the Metcalf?

I saw Romanian AKs for 900+ and Mosins for 150-190.

Whatever was there today.  AKs were just double priced, not triple.  C&R stuff was not uppriced.

I disagree. Like i said i saw WASRs near 1000, shitty SKSs for 500, Nagant Revolvers for 150 and Mosin Nagants for 150-190.

Saw a Marlin 336 30-30 being sold for 800 something!!
