I have 3 completely built new lowers in the safe, along with two more I have on the way. I didn't pay panic prices for them, got them just before the panic.

I am seeing the crazy prices out there and thinking to myself wow, I could make some cash!

However, I am rather nervous about letting this stuff go and not be able to replace it.

Anybody else in the same boat?

Im not buying or selling right now.  Everything is overpriced and I don't have anything that I want to part with...even for 2X the price.

Do you need the money?  If not, then I would be reluctant to part with complete lowers that you may have a difficult time replacing or may never be able to replace in the future.

If you need the money to pay off debt, etc and feel that you will have enough firearms and parts for the future for yourself if you sell off some, then now would be a great opportunity to sell.  Only you can answer that.

If it is expensive now, just wait until after a ban...especially if there's no new manufacture. If there's not a ban, then you're no worse off than you were three weeks ago. Besides, trying to ban or regulate "Assault Weapons" is a theme that will not go away....even if this scare turns up nothing.

I'm selling nothing and only buying ammo (at normal prices).

I've let three ARs got so far to a local dealer... he offered me crazy money that I couldn't turn down. I still have better than a dozen, and I'"ve only sold him lower end rifles... two CMMGs, and one Delton.

The only thing I dont want to part with, is my ammo... and even some of that is starting to look like it needs to go live somewhere else. Its hard to turn down 500 bucks for a case of PMC that I paid $200 for!

If you are stocked up, I say sell and make a few bucks...

I listed my MK12 up on armslist for 12k after reading the thread about selling 4 colts at 10k a piece....

first email was basically "kind of a high price on armslist isnt it? nice rifle though" sort of thing

second email was "I am interested in your AR, I can come out friday, call me at ***-***-****"

I was too chicken to go through with it, whether he was just wanting to see it and low ball, not serious at all, scam, or whatever, i wasnt comfortable with a cash transaction that large with my favorite rifle, so i pulled the ad and didnt call the guy, i'll just keep my shit

I do not to get rid of debt, so no worries there.

As far as everything else goes, well I am just unsure as to what to buy.

I do have a couple of Colt 6920s on the way at normal pricing in two weeks, not the 2K+ that they are going for right now.

VERY nervous about letting anything else go.  Unprecedented  prices and anti-gun and mind set all add up to WTF is next.  CTD forecasting a buck a round?  Exciting times

I'm not selling shit and I'm definitely not buying anything at panic prices.

If your baby needs new shoes then that's a different story.

I've been stocking up before, during and after every gun panic since the Gun Control Act of 1968.

This time it's my turn.

I've been getting rich on Ebay and Gun Broker.

Haven't sold anything.... even though I'm bloated with a few in demand items.  And that's the way I 'm staying.

Yep. Profit vs the the possibility of it being gone forever. I let a few things go. I suppose it all comes down to if you're comfortable with whats left.
